These terms govern your use of this website, orders placed through our shop, and bookings for our workshops, events and tea house. Please read them before ordering.
1. Who we are
LUMINA GARDENS LTD, trading as Lumina Botanical Gardens, registration number HE 475170, VAT number CY60170434M, of 2 Ithakis Str, 7640, Kornos-Larnaca, Cyprus. Email luminabotanicalgardens@gmail.com, phone +357 99973631.
2. Our products
We photograph and describe our products as accurately as we can. They are handmade from plants grown and gathered in Cyprus, so colour, scent and appearance vary naturally between batches. That variation is not a fault.
3. Important note about herbal products
Our teas, tinctures, hydrosols, oils and creams are food supplements and cosmetic products. They are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Nothing on this website is medical advice.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking prescribed medication, or being treated for a medical condition, speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using herbal products. Essential oils are highly concentrated and should be diluted before use on skin. If you have plant allergies, check the ingredients before buying. Stop using a product and seek advice if you have a reaction.
Keep all products out of reach of children.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in euro (€) and include VAT where it applies. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you confirm your order. We may change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order.
We accept card payments through Stripe. Payment is taken when you place the order.
If a price is obviously wrong — a clear pricing error — we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than supply at that price.
5. How an order is made
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we send you an email confirming the order has been dispatched. If an item turns out to be unavailable we will contact you and refund it.
6. Delivery
We deliver to the areas listed at checkout. Delivery times given are estimates, not guarantees. Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us.
If nobody is available to accept the parcel, the courier will leave instructions. If a parcel comes back to us undelivered, we will contact you to arrange redelivery — the cost of that is yours.
7. Cancellations and returns
Your right to cancel, return items and get a refund is set out in our Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Workshops and events
- Places are limited and confirmed in the order bookings are received.
- Workshops need a minimum number of participants. If we do not reach it we will offer you another date or a full refund.
- Some activities involve hot water, open flame, blades or distillation equipment. Follow the instructions given on the day.
- Children are welcome at workshops marked as suitable, and must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout.
- Tell us in advance about allergies or medical conditions we should know about.
- Cancellation terms are in the Refund and Returns Policy.
9. Tea house reservations
A reservation submitted through our website is a request. Your table is booked only once we confirm it by email or phone. We hold reserved tables for 15 minutes past the booked time, after which we may release them. Please let us know if your plans change.
10. Visiting the gardens
The gardens are a working outdoor space with uneven ground, water features, plants, insects and bees. Please supervise children, keep to the paths, and wear sensible footwear. Follow any instructions from our staff.
11. Our liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for defective products, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
12. Website content
The text, photographs, logos and design on this site belong to us and may not be reproduced commercially without our permission. We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
13. Personal data
We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Complaints and governing law
If something goes wrong, email luminabotanicalgardens@gmail.com and we will try to put it right. You can also contact the Consumer Protection Service of the Cyprus Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus, and disputes fall to the courts of Cyprus. As a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
